Today my husband and myself went to Steelhead Auto Recyclers... spoke with the NICEST man - Ben. My husband was looking for something very specific and Ben was very happy to accommodate us and had the part. Came back quickly with the item. Our experience was so fabulous ! Haven't encountered very many company's that put the customer first and is ALSO pleasant during this whole process. Hands down ! I will refer Steel Head Auto Salvage (Ben) to all my friends and anyone I run into ! Top Notch organization !

They offer buy back program which is awesome if your car fits the criteria. You have to understand this is a business that recycles used parts from cars they get in. They salvage what can be used and if it’s not usable they scrap it. You’re not buying new parts so don’t expect new but if you want fair priced usable parts these are the guys to go to. They run a good Business and do it with just a few people so be patient. Best wrecking yard in town.

customer service was lacking had a question, only to be accosted by an employee trying to discourage me from even entering the establishment and being standoffish repeatedly saying that he didn't have anything I was looking for, almost seemed like he was just saying that to make me leave. Aggressive and rude, to the point of seeming angry...

This is the best wrecking yard I’ve ever been to!! I bought a used engine that came with a 60 day warranty which gave me plenty of time to put it in my car and drive it. They were honest about what mileage the engine had and even provided me with a vin number to confirm. Their yard was so clean and organized too which I haven’t seen before with other yards. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for used parts at a fraction of the price of dealerships!

These folks deserve much better reviews!! Been here twice now, once for a transmission and some interior parts, and another time for an idle control valve. All parts were pulled from the car and given to me the same exact day I came in. Super easy to work with too—I came in right before their lunch break on accident and wanted to get the idle control valve before I headed out of town later in the day, and they worked with me and pulled it out then and there. Super appreciate them for being so accommodating and it's so great having a local junkyard to get parts from. Totally recommend!
